This versatile trail bike with a full-suspension frame made of Alpha Platinum Aluminum is designed to handle fast climbs, technical descents, and all-day trips in challenging terrain. It's packed with technology that enhances its versatility, comfort, and performance. The frame features internal storage, adjustable head tube angle, Mino Link for geometry tweaking, adjustable damping progression for suspension customization, and internal cable routing for a clean look. The use of a magnesium rocker arm, standards such as ISCG 05, UDH and Boost148 make this frame a modern basis for a powerful trail machine with 140 mm of travel.
The front part is provided by a RockShox 35 Gold RL suspension fork with 150 mm of travel, DebonAir technology, shock absorber data-end="1023">Motion Control and a 15 mm Boost110 thru-axle. Maximum frame compatibility allows for up to 160 mm forks. The Fox Performance Float EVOL rear shock with three-position DPS damping was optimized directly in the Trek Suspension Lab and provides precisely tuned performance for every type of ride.
The Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheels are tubeless ready and adapted to the frame size - smaller frames (XS and S) are equipped with 27.5" wheels, larger versions (S – XXL) with 29" versions. The hubs use the Rapid Drive 108 system for instant shots and reliable performance. The wheels are shod with 2.50" wide Bontrager XR5 Team Issue tires, Inner Strength Casing, and aramid bead technology - ready for tubeless riding right out of the box. The frame supports tires up to 2.50" wide (for XS/S 27.5"). The drivetrain is built on a combination of Shimano SLX and XT 12-speed components for reliable and precise shifting. The SLX M7100 shifter is paired with a Shimano XT rear derailleur. M8100 with long cage. Shimano Deore M6120 cranks with 30-tooth chainring and 55 mm chainline are complemented by Shimano Deore M6100 cassette with a range of 10-51 teeth. Maximum frame compatibility allows the use of up to 34-tooth chainrings, including the oval version.
The components offer reliability and comfort. The Bontrager Arvada saddle with a width of 138 mm is ideal for long rides. The TranzX telescopic seatpost has different travel depending on the frame size - from 100 mm for XS/S to 170 mm for XL/XXL. The 750mm wide Bontrager Rhythm Comp handlebars provide confidence in technical sections, XR Trail Comp grips provide a comfortable grip, and the stem adjusts to the frame size (35mm for smaller sizes, 50mm for larger ones).
Braking performance is provided by the TRP Slate EVO hydraulic disc system with generous 180mm and 203mm brake discs depending on the frame size. The frame supports brake discs up to 203 mm in size, which is ideal for more demanding descents and longer routes.
The weight of the bike in size M is 15.97 kg (with tubeless sealant, without tubes). The maximum system weight (rider + bike + cargo) is 136 kg, which is a common and reliable standard for trail models in this category.
