- Use the specified charger to charge the battery. Use of any other equipment may result in fire, overheating or leakage. For details on compatible battery chargers, please refer to the "Product Range" section of our website (https://productinfo.shimano.com).
- Use a power adapter with a USB port with a voltage of 5.0 V DC and a current of at least 1.0 A DC. If you use an adapter with a current rating of less than 1.0 A, the AC adapter may heat up and cause fire, smoke, heating, damage, electric shock, or burns.
- Do not heat the battery or throw it into a fire. Failure to do so may result in fire or rupture.
- Do not use or leave the battery in hot or humid places where the battery may be exposed to direct sunlight, in a closed vehicle on a hot day, or near a heater. Failure to do so may result in fire, burns, or other injuries due to leakage, overheating, or rupture.
- Do not disassemble or modify the battery; also, do not apply solder directly to the battery terminals. 2. During charging: 0 °C - 45 °C
- Do not expose this battery to extremely low air pressure. Doing so could cause the battery to explode or leak flammable liquid or gas. Air transport of this battery is not a problem.
- Do not use the battery in case of obvious scratches or in case of other external damage. Failure to do so may cause cracking or overheating or problems during operation.

- If the leaking fluid touches your skin or clothing, clean them immediately with clean water. Leaked liquid may damage the skin.
- After reading the user manual carefully, store this manual in a safe place for possible future use.
