PREPARATION
Energy gels as well as energy concentrates are recommended in our nutrition strategies and plans to be used during performance. This is nothing new or revolutionary. But how to do it, for example, while riding a bicycle, in order to receive the necessary dose of energy as safely as possible? There are two possible ways that we will introduce you to:
1. consumption of concentrate or gel by mixing it into a drink
Probably the most optimal and, because of that, also often used is mixing the concentrate or gel into a bottle of water. This solution is easy to implement, especially on a bicycle, when you can carry two bottles with you - in one you have the Enervit G sport ionic drink, which you drink every 10-15 minutes, in the other, a concentrate or gel dissolved in water, which you consume less often than the ionic drink (after 30-45 minutes).
2. consumption of the concentrate or gel in the original packaging.
In this case, it is advisable to prepare the energy concentrate (Enervitene sport concentrate or Enervitene sport competition) in advance before the start by unscrewing and then screwing back the cap of the concentrate, thereby breaking the fuse for easier handling of the cap during the race.
